- Sam is surprised when she – and Jason! – bond so easily with the baby, leading to another “what if” conversation. Happily reunited, Sam finally chooses a name for her baby – Daniel on 10/16
- As Tea says goodbye to Victor Jr, Sam thanks her for being there for her son when he needed her
- Sam is overjoyed when she and Jason easily bond with the baby on 10/16
- Alexis, Kristina, and Molly learn about Sam's good news on 10/17
- Jason tells Monicathat he's leaving it up to Sam to decide if their marriage is worth saving on 10/17
- Monica asks Jason if this means he and Sam will reunite, but he says the decision is Sam’s. Jason makes a heartfelt pitch to Sam. At the end of the week, Jason and Sam get a surprise.

- On Friday, October 19th, John knocks on Sam's door to tell her he is returning to Llanview with Tea. He wants to support Tea in rebuilding her life and hopes that she will be able to help him make some inroads with Natalie so that he can see Liam. Seeing Sam reunited with her son shows him that he can't just accept being shut out of Liam's life anymore.
- Sam thanks John McBain for everything he did to uncover the baby-switch. She tells him that she’ll always feel a mysterious connection to him but she’s back with Jason now. After John goes, Sam happily waits for Jason to come home. But when someone comes to the door, it isn’t Jason on 10/22.
- Sam and John say goodbye on Monday, October 22nd.
