Stelly on Sam's ring.
Monaco: So we picked out a ring.
Burton: No.
Monaco: (laughs) No, I know.
Burton: You picked out the ring.
Monaco: I picked it out.
Burton: With wardrobe.
Monaco: And I told them not to tell Steve which ring I picked.
Burton: And I already picked the one.
Kelly: I wanted Steve to pick the right ring that Sam would like
“It’s going to be a nice payoff to the fans," teases KM. "And that's all I'm going to say. Well, for now [laughs J. There will be plenty more to come!"

SOW
Life Sentence?
If there was ever a soap couple who beat the odds to find their way to each other — and back — it's GENERAL HOSPITAL's Jason and Sam, or "JaSam" as they are affec¬tionately known by fans. After seven years of ups, downs and everything in between, the mob enforcer and the former con artist-turned-P.!. reach a new milestone....
The week begins with Sam (and a reluctant) Jason counseling a heartbroken Molly about the concept of love. "All these breakups really throw her off," sighs HP, a.k.a. Sam's hopelessly romantic sister. Molly, about the state of amour in Port Charles. "Love didn't work out for Carly and Jax, and it probably won't for Brenda and Sonny. It might not even work out for Jason and Sam, so Molly gets really scared. She goes to Sam and Jason and she freaks out because she's like, 'What if love doesn't really exist?'"
Sam is able to talk her sis off the ledge, but the topic gets her and Jason thinking about their own future. Adding fuel to the domestic fire is Maxie, who's pushing Jason to make a commitment. "It all starts with Maxie." chuckles SB. "She keeps bringing up the question of. 'Don't you know that Sam wants you to ask her?' Of course, it's Maxie, so it's really for her own selfish reasons to get Spinelli out of this Jackal P.I. guy he is [laughs]. But it really gets Jason thinking about. 'Yeah, you know, the baby thing has been coming up. Now the marriage thing is coming up.' He thought Sam was cool with the relationship the way it was. It is what it is. She accepts him for who he is. Things were going fine. But now? Not so sure."
"Sam thought the same thing," interjects her portrayer, KM. "She's like, 'No thanks. I don't need marriage. I don't need any of that. The reason for that, if you look at her history, is because her only experience with marriage has been in cons. It was a means to an end. She thinks, 'That's when you really screw it up, when you get married, so let's not ruin it. If it's not broken, why fix it?' But underneath that, she's thinking. 'Wow, we are talking about babies and marriage.' Due to that, Sam is caving. But they are still really stuck on, 'There's no way that any of this is possible.'"
Or is it? Jason invites Sam to a romantic rooftop dinner, and with Maxie's help, he picks out an engagement ring for her . As Sam confides her conflict¬ing feelings to Alexis, a snafu threatens to ruin Jason's plans when Maxie accidentally drops the ring off the balcony! However, an unflappable Jason is determined to go through with the proposal anyway. 'They are at that point now where it's either, 'Jump off the cliff or don't,'" SB nods.
When the time comes for Sam's response, she's speechless. "Jason figures out that she's a little afraid of saying yes." SB continues. "If they get married right away and have a baby right away, there's a little fear there for Sam. It's no longer, 'Things are great the way they are.' There's hesitancy there because of everything that comes with it."
SB also can't help but note the irony, since Jason was always the more anti-marriage partner in years past. "It really switches," he chuckles. It used to be him saying, 'I don't know if I want to get married. Marriage is overrated. We're fine. Everything's fine.' But that was then. With everything they've been through, he gels rid of that and gets into it. She's a little afraid, but Jason loves Sam so much. he wants to prove it. He's like, 'I love you this much. This is what I want to do. Do you want to do it?' "
Well, Sam? We're waiting....
